Prior to joining Bay Legal as a paralegal and now as a lawyer, Penny spent 10 years at a major Australian bank. During her banking career, Penny has held various positions in lending, fund management, and government and regulatory affairs. Penny holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics and is currently pursuing a Master`s degree in Bioethics. Thao believes in an empathetic, effective and practical approach to solving legal problems. Nathan enjoys the challenges associated with a generalist law firm like Bay Legal, including a diverse clientele and the wide range of legal requests. Nathan was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2019. June has extensive legal experience, having spent her career working with lawyers in the UK, South Africa and Australia. She has managed large corporate offices and worked as a personal assistant for clients. June has extensive knowledge of the legal process and the crucial role of dealing personally with clients. Finally, she brings an appetite for digital skills to Bay Legal and helps with the accounting side of the business.

He was called to the bar in 1995 and enjoys practicing in a commercial and general store. In 2015, Tim teamed up with Rick Gerber, who shared his vision of bringing the expertise of the experience of large law firms to clients of a different type of client-focused, personal and creative law firm. Together they founded Gerber & Mitchell LLC. Ownership and transfer of ownership is one of the areas of law where nothing can go wrong. Outside of work, June enjoys hiking, water aerobics, reading and sports. She supports one of the best teams in England and enjoys pampering the office on Monday mornings with her team`s performance over the weekend. Prior to practising law, Tim gained extensive experience in various policy advisory and working relationships. In 1989, Tim co-founded the Australia Asia Young Leaders Program Inc. He is currently President of the M Club, Maroubra Bay. Tim worked at world-class law firms in the 1990s, primarily on commercial transactions and infrastructure projects. Since founding Bay Legal in 2005, he has developed his practice assisting private clients and small and medium-sized businesses with general commercial transactions, civil litigation, real estate rights, leasing, intellectual property and all forms of judicial and administrative representation on appeal. He also has extensive experience in criminal defence and labour matters and has been involved in the adjudication of many controversial probate issues, including the controversial family supply and wills cases in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Tim and Rick knew from the start that Dublin, Ohio, would be the headquarters of the new law firm.
They bought one of the oldest buildings in the historic city of Dublin, renovated it and founded Gerber & Mitchell at the centre of an active business community. Prior to joining Bay Legal, Nathan spent over 15 years in leadership positions at some of Sydney`s leading arts institutions and also ran a commercial photography company. June supports the Children`s Cancer Charity Committee and helps with charity work whenever she can. Thao has a passion for family law and has experience in various areas of law, including personal injury as well as wills and estates. Tim`s practice involves advising physicians and physician-owned organizations on topics such as antitrust, reimbursement and managed care, as well as operational matters, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. As an in-house consultant for a large healthcare system in Central Ohio, Tim has a deep understanding of critical issues affecting healthcare organizations, physicians, and physician-owned organizations. Tim`s expertise includes: After more than 30 years of successful practice as a lawyer in very large law firms and as in-house counsel, Tim has earned a reputation as a key expert in all aspects of health law. He built long-term relationships with clients and understood their business in a meaningful way. Outside of the office, Thao enjoys eating, cheerleading and learning about ancient Egypt and astrophysics. We have different levels of experience and knowledge. Thao graduated Law School with Honours in 2011 and was called to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2012. She is currently Treasurer of the Eastern Suburbs Law Society. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys thinking outside the box to explore and photograph the many wonders of the New South Wales countryside.
